Job summary

CSAA Insurance Group is seeking a Capital Modeling Lead for P&C insurance, with remote work options across the United States (except Hawaii and Alaska). The role focuses on building internal economic capital models, leveraging ReMetrica, and collaborating with risk, actuarial, investments, and FP&A teams to enhance capital analytics guiding business decisions.

Responsibilities

• Develop deep technical understanding of CSAA's ReMetrica-based economic capital model.
• Independently reproduce, challenge, and enhance existing model calculations and methodologies.
• Design and build stochastic capital models integrating underwriting, reserve, catastrophe, investment, and other risks.
• Evaluate VaR, TVaR, tail-risk, diversification, and capital attribution methods.
• Analyze dependencies across risks, geographies, and markets.
• Perform sensitivity, scenario, stress, and parameter uncertainty analyses.
• Develop approaches for marginal and incremental capital analysis.
• Collaborate with Reinsurance, Investments, Product Management, catastrophe modeling, and FP&A teams.
