Job summary

Dexterra is hiring a Housekeeper to maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and presentation of guest rooms, dormitories, washrooms, and common areas at a large Dexterra camp facility. The project will scale from ~500 rooms to over 4,000, with daily room assignments and strict safety protocols.

You will report to the Housekeeping Supervisor, work in a fast-paced team environment, and ensure accommodations remain guest-ready at all times while following PPE requirements and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in housekeeping, janitorial, or commercial cleaning preferred.
• Knowledge of standard cleaning procedures, chemicals, and equipment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
• Physically able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 35–50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize guest rooms, dormitories, and common areas.
• Change linens, dust high-touch surfaces, and empty trash.
• Clean and disinfect washrooms and showers.
• Vacuum, mop, and sweep hallways, stairwells, and public areas.
• Complete room turn-overs and check-outs per schedules.
• Launder and restock towels and linens.
• Maintain housekeeping cart and storage areas.
• Report maintenance issues to the supervisor.
• Follow safety, infection-control, and PPE guidelines.
• Assist with additional housekeeping tasks as assigned.
