Job summary

Mercor is seeking a CAD Engineer for the ScreenSpot Plus pilot, a contract role that can be performed remotely from the United States. You will capture high-quality CAD screenshots and annotate UI elements across major CAD tools, following precise guidelines to support AI-driven UI annotation.

You should have hands-on experience with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Fusion 360, CATIA, Revit or Siemens NX, a strong grasp of CAD workflows, meticulous attention to detail, and clear written English for task

Qualifications

• Reliable access to the relevant CAD software.

Responsibilities

• Capture high-quality screenshots of professional CAD software during realistic, expert workflows.
• Annotate interactive UI elements (buttons, menus, panels, toolbars, dialogs) accurately and consistently.
• Write clear, natural-language task instructions reflecting expert software use.
• Iterate on feedback during the pilot phase to meet quality standards before scaling to full production.
