Job summary

gpac is seeking an experienced CAD Technician for civil construction projects. The role focuses on AutoCAD drafting for earthwork, grading, paving, and site development from planning through completion.

You will interpret civil drawings, support field teams, coordinate with PMs and engineers, and maintain organized project drawings. Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects are essential. Experience with Civil 3D is a plus.

Qualifications

• Hands-on AutoCAD drafting experience.
• Background in civil construction, site development or heavy civil projects.
• Ability to read and interpret civil drawings and specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and organization.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and revise civil construction drawings using AutoCAD.
• Develop plans for grading, earthwork, paving, and site development projects.
• Interpret construction plans, engineering drawings, and project specifications.
• Assist with site layouts, elevations, contours, and grading plans.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, estimators, and field teams.
• Review drawings for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with project requirements.
• Incorporate design revisions and field changes into CAD drawings.
• Maintain organized drawing files and project documentation.
