Job summary

Alliance of Professionals & Consultants, Inc. (APC) is seeking a CAD Technician / AutoCAD Drafter to support oil and gas and energy infrastructure projects through planning, design, and permitting.

You will use AutoCAD and related tools to create exhibits, drawings, and datasets that support client planning, project development, and regulatory submittals. This remote, deadline-driven role requires strong communication and the ability to work independently while staying connected with the team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 1 year of AutoCAD experience.
• Civil 3D experience is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and communication.
• Ability to work remotely and manage deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Draft and QA/QC permitting and design exhibits using AutoCAD.
• Prepare and edit survey drawings with AutoCAD and Civil 3D where applicable.
• Annotate survey data (bearings, distances, coordinates).
• Work with PLSS to depict land boundaries and survey elements.
• Align labeling, linework, and drawing clarity to standards.
• Utilize templates and Excel for data tables.
• Edit GIS data via AutoCAD FDO and update attributes.
• Learn and apply client design specifications and rules.
• Track work, budget, and timelines; liaise with Coordinator.
• Communicate workload status with team.
• Identify drafting quality improvements.
