Job summary

Iron Gate Law Group seeks a California-licensed attorney to review consumer demand letters for signature on firm letterhead. This is a fully remote independent contractor role with a flexible schedule and no billable-hour requirements.

Review letters, authorize issuance, and direct paralegal revisions as needed. Work from anywhere; respond within two business days. The role is 1099 and compensated with a fixed monthly fee.

Qualifications

• Licensed to practice law in California for at least five continuous years.
• Active license and current good standing in every jurisdiction of admission.
• No public disciplinary history and no pending grievance, disciplinary proceeding, or malpractice claim.
• Sound professional judgment and comfort reviewing consumer demand letters efficiently.
• Reliable availability during the work week.

Responsibilities

• Review the demand letter, approve it for issuance under your signature on firm letterhead.
• Direct the assigned paralegal regarding revisions before approval; respond within two working days.
