Job summary

Information Security Corporation, a SAIC company, seeks an experienced C++ Software Developer to build state-of-the-art security software. Remote position; must reside in the Washington, DC Metro area or Chicago area. Reports to the Director of Software Development in Oak Park, IL.

Candidates should have at least two years of professional C++ development, and strong Linux/Windows skills. Active TS clearance and U.S. citizenship are required. Target salary range is $100,001–$140,000 per year.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and at least 2 years of related experience; Master's degree with 0 years.
• At least two years of professional C++ software development experience.
• At least two years of Linux and Windows software development experience.
• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• U.S. citizenship and the ability to successfully complete a background check are required.
• Active Top Secret Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications in C++.
• Participate in requirements analysis, software design, code reviews, and product reviews.
• Collaborate closely with QA to deliver reliable, high-quality software.
• Troubleshoot and resolve software defects.
• Contribute to product architecture and technical design discussions.
