Job summary

Unitronics is seeking a remote Business Data Analyst to join our data and analytics team. You will transform complex data into clear, actionable reports and dashboards to support data-driven decisions across departments.

The role requires 2+ years of analyst experience, strong SQL, and BI tool expertise, with collaboration across marketing, finance, and operations to drive insights and improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field.
• 2+ years of experience as a business/data analyst or similar.
• Proficiency in SQL and data querying from relational databases.
• Strong experience with Excel and BI tools (Power BI/Tableau/Looker).
• Ability to translate business questions into analytical frameworks.
• Excellent communication and storytelling skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Gather, clean, and analyze large datasets from various business systems (CRM/ERP/marketing).
• Design and deliver reports, dashboards, and visualizations using BI tools.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate into analytics.
• Monitor KPIs, trends, and performance metrics for improvements.
• Identify opportunities through data analysis and present recommendations to leadership.
• Support A/B testing, forecasting, and statistical modeling as needed.
• Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and governance across analytics efforts.
• Automate repetitive reporting tasks and optimize dashboards and queries.
• Document business requirements, data sources, processes, and solutions.
