Avara Software LLC is seeking a precise breast imager to read screening and diagnostic studies remotely. You will interpret mammography, 3D mammography, breast ultrasound, and MRI while collaborating with our ops team to deliver high-quality care.

Full-time or part-time with ownership over your schedule and volume. Role emphasizes outpatient reads only, with no nights or weekends, and optional positions such as medical director with additional compensation.

Qualifications

• Board certification in breast imaging (ABR/AOBR) is required.
• Breast imaging fellowship completed.
• Licensed to practice in at least one US state; credentialing assistance available.
• Malpractice coverage preferred; company can assist with credentialing if needed.
• Candidates should be optimistic, enjoy challenges and thrive with ambiguity, and be tech-savvy.

Responsibilities

• Interpret screening and diagnostic breast imaging including mammography, 3D mammography, ultrasound and MRI.
• Read quantitative tomography 3D ultrasound (training provided, no prior experience required).
• Own your schedule and set minimum and maximum volumes.
• Read outpatient studies only; no nights or weekends.
• Partner with operations to deliver accurate reports and feedback to engineers to refine systems.
• No patient or referring provider communication is required; potential optional medical director roles with additional compensation.
