Job summary

Sedgwick is seeking a Claims Examiner - Bodily Injury to analyze and process complex auto and commercial transportation claims, reviewing coverage, conducting investigations, and evaluating damages. The role emphasizes timely resolution and adherence to client requirements.

Ideal candidates will have extensive claims management experience, knowledge of auto policies, and strong communication skills to collaborate with insureds, clients, and brokers.

Qualifications

• Five years of claims management experience or equivalent.
• In-depth knowledge of personal and commercial auto policies.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; professional certification as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Process complex auto commercial and personal line claims with proper documentation.
• Handle litigation processes on litigated claims.
• Coordinate vendor management with independent adjusters for investigations.
• Report large claims to excess carrier(s).
• Develop action plans to meet state deadlines and move files toward resolution.
• Identify subrogation and risk transfer opportunities; secure salvage.
• Communicate claim actions with insured, client and broker as appropriate.
• Perform other duties as assigned; support quality programs.
