Emperion seeks a Board-Certified Physician for part-time, remote work as an independent contractor, focusing on disability appeal reviews. You will conduct independent, evidence-based file reviews and provide objective reports aligned with clinical guidelines. Ideal candidates hold an unrestricted U.S. State Medical License, are engaged in clinical practice, and possess strong communication skills. The role includes flexibility to work from anywhere in the U.S., with orientation and support from PeerLink Medical.

Qualificações

• Engaged in clinical practice 20 hours/week or more.
• Experience in peer review, utilization review, or independent medical examination is preferred but not required.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct independent, evidence-based file reviews.
• Review patient records and related documentation in alignment with clinical guidelines.
• Provide objective, high-quality reports within turnaround timelines.
• Maintain compliance with URAC, HIPAA, and internal quality standards.

Active Board-Certification

Formação académica
