Job summary

American Bird Conservancy is seeking a Conservation Impact Specialist to help develop and advance ABC Conservation Practices, translating science and field experience into practical guidance for landowners, managers, and partners.

You will collaborate with regional staff, GIS and communications teams, coordinate training, connect practices to funding programs, and help scale up bird conservation across BirdScapes and programs, with flexible remote work.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of bird conservation and habitat management.
• Excellent writing and communication skills.
• Experience working with partners and landowners.
• Ability to translate technical information into practical guidance.

Responsibilities

• Develop ABC Conservation Practices with a standard framework.
• Coordinate reviews with staff and external experts.
