Alignerr is seeking a Biotech Health Data Governance Lead to shape how AI training uses clinical trial data. This fully remote, hourly contract role focuses on accuracy, traceability, and regulatory compliance to power scientific discovery and regulatory submissions.

You will define and enforce data policies across research, regulatory, and partner teams, while enabling secure, governed access to data assets for analytics and collaboration.

Qualifications

• Experience leading data governance in biotech or regulated data environments.
• Strong knowledge of privacy, security and regulatory expectations for research data.
• Ability to translate complex governance requirements into practical workflows.
• Excellent written communication for policies and reports.

Responsibilities

• Govern biotech research and clinical trial data to ensure accuracy, lineage, and auditability for scientific analysis and regulatory submissions.
• Define and enforce data policies covering classification, access control, security, and metadata management across research, clinical, regulatory, and partner teams.
• Enable secure, governed access to data assets for analytics, innovation, and external collaborations — while protecting confidential and patient-related information.
• Identify gaps in existing data governance frameworks and recommend improvements aligned with regulatory expectations.
• Collaborate with scientific, IT, compliance, and business stakeholders to align data standards and operational workflows.
