Alignerr is seeking a Biotech Health Data Governance Lead to help shape how AI training uses biotech data. You will ensure accuracy, lineage, and auditability of clinical trial and research data to support scientific discovery, regulatory submissions, and advanced analytics.

This is a fully remote hourly contract role. We value experts in biotech, life sciences, or regulated data environments who can work asynchronously across scientific, IT, compliance, and business teams.

Qualifications

• Experience leading governance programs in biotech or regulated data environments.
• Strong knowledge of privacy, security, compliance for research data.
• Ability to work asynchronously in a remote setting.

Responsibilities

• Govern biotech research and clinical trial data with auditability for analysis and submissions.
• Define and enforce data policies across classification, access controls, security protocols, and metadata standards.
• Enable governed data access for analytics and collaborations while protecting patient information.
• Identify data quality gaps and drive improvements to strengthen compliance and integrity.
• Collaborate with scientific, IT, compliance, and business stakeholders to align data standards and governance frameworks.
• Support AI model development by ensuring datasets meet quality standards.
