Job summary

Foundation Medicine is seeking a Biostatistician I to provide statistical expertise for development, validation, and regulatory approval of FMI’s diagnostic devices, including CDx. You will design and analyze studies, deliver reports and regulatory documents, and collaborate with multiple departments to ensure high-quality insights.

The role requires a Master’s or PhD in statistics/biostatistics, strong R programming skills, and the ability to communicate complex methods clearly.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in statistics/biostatistics or PhD in statistics/biostatistics.
• Strong programming skills in R.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to and execute the design and data analysis of analytical and clinical validation studies for NGS-based diagnostic devices.
• Support innovative biostatistical solutions to complex problems.
• Represent the biostatistics team in cross-functional projects.
• Collaborate on study design, planning, data preparation, programming, analysis, and presentation of results.
• Contribute to regulatory submissions and respond to review questions with guidance from senior team members.
• Maintain biostatistics quality standards and ensure analyses are completed on time.
• Provide biostatistical interpretation and solutions across FMI functions.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Comply with FMI's attendance policies.
