Job summary

Alignerr is seeking a PhD-level Biochemist to train AI data for life sciences in a fully remote hourly contract. You will work 10–40 hours per week on protein folding, metabolic flux, enzyme kinetics, and molecular genetics to guide AI reasoning.

Responsibilities include designing expert-level problems, authoring ground-truth solutions, and auditing AI outputs for accuracy and safety. Strong communication and meticulous attention to detail are essential.

Qualifications

• PhD in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or a closely related field (completed or in final stages).
• Strong foundational expertise in structural biology, enzymology, cellular metabolism, or bioinformatics.
• Able to communicate highly technical biochemical concepts clearly in written form.
• High attention to detail when reviewing complex chemical equations, molecular diagrams, and experimental protocols.

Responsibilities

• Design expert-level biochemistry problems across domains to stress-test AI performance.
• Author ground-truth solutions and golden responses for AI benchmarks.
• Audit AI outputs for scientific accuracy, safety, and adherence to established standards.
