Job summary

Bowman is seeking a Design Technology Administrator III, BIM for remote placement in the United States. You will administer, maintain, train, and support design technology tools to ensure efficient usage across projects.

You will lead BIM standards for mechanical and electrical disciplines, mentor staff on advanced modeling techniques, and collaborate with IT and project teams to optimize workflows and data-driven delivery.

Qualifications

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent experience required.
  • Minimum of five to seven (5-7) years’ relevant industry-related experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of civil engineering software applications such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Bentley Microstation, Revit, BIM360, Navisworks, and other industry-specific tools.

Responsibilities

  • Lead development and implementation of MEP-specific Revit standards, content libraries, and automation tools that improve design quality, coordination, and production efficiency.
  • Collaborate with mechanical and electrical engineering leadership to identify opportunities for workflow automation, model intelligence, and data-driven project delivery.
  • Mentor engineers and designers on advanced MEP modeling techniques, BIM best practices, and custom tool utilization.
  • Serve as a discipline BIM leader for mechanical and Electrical projects, promoting company BIM standards, workflows, and best practices.
  • Review mechanical BIM models for compliance with project BIM Execution Plans (BEPs), company standards, and quality requirements.
  • Collaborate with BIM Managers, Project Managers, and multidisciplinary teams to establish project BIM goals and deliverables.
  • Assist in the development of BIM execution plans, model management procedures, and client BIM requirements.
