Job summary

Piper Companies is seeking a BIM Coordinator to support a leading engineering, construction, and design services organization. This role is a 6-month contract with remote work and frequent travel to Atlanta, GA, requiring strong BIM workflow expertise and collaboration across teams.

The position focuses on model coordination, clash detection, BIM standards compliance, and lifecycle BIM management, with extensive use of Revit, Navisworks, and Autodesk Construction Cloud.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of BIM coordination, model management experience.
• Strong understanding of construction processes and multidisciplinary coordination.
• Experience on Greenfield projects in pharmaceutical, industrial, or mission-critical sectors.
• Proficiency with Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, and Autodesk Construction Cloud.
• Experience working within Common Data Environments (CDE).
• Knowledge of BIM standards ISO 19650 and IFC-based information exchange.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate multidisciplinary BIM models and project workflows.
• Set up and maintain linked models and project modeling environments.
• Perform clash detection and coordinate resolution of design conflicts.
• Verify model consistency, completeness, and LOIN requirements.
• Monitor adherence to BIM standards and conventions.
• Facilitate BIM coordination meetings and communicate project updates.
• Collaborate with project stakeholders to resolve spatial coordination issues.
• Manage and maintain BIM models throughout the project lifecycle.
