Job summary

NeoGenomics Laboratories is seeking a Billing Reimbursement Supervisor to lead the billing team in a fully remote role. The position drives timely billing, collections, and AR management, ensuring compliance and accuracy across CPT/ICD coding and payer rules.

You will mentor staff, develop procedures, monitor DSO trends, and collaborate with Finance to optimize revenue cycle performance while upholding the company’s standards of integrity and excellence.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Medical Billing/Revenue Cycle, lab billing preferred
• Proficient in CPT/ICD coding
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience coordinating with IT and lab departments
• Ability to drive billing improvements and resolve issues with customers

Responsibilities

• Supervise billing team to ensure accurate, timely billing and AR management
• Develop and enforce department procedures and performance standards
• Monitor receivables aging and reduce Days Sales Outstanding
• Coach and mentor staff; lead regular team meetings
• Prepare productivity reports and track departmental metrics
• Collaborate with Finance on month-end close and trend analysis
