Job summary

iMedX seeks an experienced Billing Manager (Contractor) to lead billing operations and revenue cycle management across multiple clients in a fast-paced, remote environment. The role prioritizes accuracy, compliance, and client success, with multi-state Behavioral Health billing a plus.

You will oversee billing and collections, close monthly cycles, mentor remote contractors, and serve as the primary client contact (CFOs, CEOs).

Qualifications

• 3-5 years’ experience in revenue cycle management, billing operations, or related leadership role.
• Proven ability to improve processes and resolve claims issues effectively.
• Strong leadership skills with experience managing remote teams.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving, organizational, and analytical abilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and streamline billing and collections processes for assigned clients.
• Close monthly billing cycles and prepare timely AR, payment, and adjustment reports.
• Lead and mentor remote billing contractors, ensuring quality and efficiency.
• Serve as the main client contact (billing staff, CFOs, CEOs), building strong professional relationships.
• Design, update, and implement billing procedures and train staff accordingly.
• Interview, onboard, and support contractor development.
• Collaborate with leadership on client needs, performance, and resource planning.
