Job summary

Humana Inc. is seeking a Bilingual Care Management Support Assistant for a remote role. You will contact members by phone to support care management, conduct non-clinical assessments, identify barriers, and guide access to resources and benefits.

The shift is 11:30 AM–8:00 PM EST, with training hours initially 8:30 AM–5:00 PM EST. You must be fluent in English and Spanish, have at least 1 year of high-volume call experience, and document interactions accurately in multiple systems.

Qualifications

  • Bilingual English/Spanish with language proficiency assessments.
  • 1 year of experience handling high-volume inbound/outbound calls.
  • Experience meeting productivity, quality, or service metrics.
  • Experience updating member/customer information across multiple applications and platforms.
  • Proficiency with Word, Excel, Teams, and Outlook for daily tasks.
  • Ability to work an 8-hour shift between 11:30 AM and 8:00 PM EST including lunch.

Responsibilities

  • Engage members by phone to encourage participation in care management programs.
  • Complete required assessments and questionnaires to identify health needs and follow-up opportunities.
  • Assist members with scheduling doctor appointments or accessing resources and benefits.
  • Identify and address barriers to preventive screenings and services to close care gaps.
  • Help members understand and access benefits for overall health and wellbeing.
  • Manage calls in an auto-dialer environment and document member information.
