Job summary

Alera Group is seeking an Enhanced Services Specialist to support dependent verification, billing reconciliation, and Tier 1 client inquiries. The role emphasizes accuracy, regulatory compliance, and cross-functional collaboration within a remote, national framework.

The position offers exposure to benefits administration systems such as DependentsAudit, Tabulera, and Employee Navigator, with training provided through the Alera Group Academy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field preferred.
• 1-2 years of experience in benefits administration, billing reconciliation, or customer service.
• Familiarity with benefits administration technology, such as DependentsAudit, Tabulera, Employee Navigator, bswift or similar systems.
• Intermediate Excel skills and knowledge of CRM or ticketing systems (e.g., Zoho or similar).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a client-focused approach.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and collaborate effectively with team members.

Responsibilities

• Dependent verification and compliance tasks ensuring ERISA and client policies are met.
• Billing reconciliation and data processing to align premium payments with participant data.
• Handle Tier 1 inquiries from employees, HR teams, and broker partners; provide guidance on verifications and billing.
• Maintain accurate records across systems; support documentation tracking and QA checks.
• Participate in training; contribute to SOP improvements and workflow enhancements.
