Job summary

Nurah, a brand powered by CoAct, seeks a Behaviour Support Practitioner to deliver high-quality PBS services to NDIS participants in Australia. You will conduct functional behaviour assessments and develop individualized PBS plans, collaborating with participants, families, and allied professionals to achieve meaningful outcomes.

You will work autonomously within professional scope, maintain compliant documentation, and support participants with complex needs while aligning with NDIS standards

Qualifications

• Experience delivering behaviour support services within the NDIS.
• Experience completing functional behaviour assessments and developing PBS plans.
• Experience working with a range of stakeholders including participants, families, carers, and service providers.
• Understanding of restrictive practices, reporting requirements and safeguarding.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain accurate, timely and compliant case notes.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, evidence-based behaviour support services to participants, including those with complex needs.
• Conduct comprehensive functional behaviour assessments.
• Develop, implement and review PBS plans with participants and stakeholders.
• Promote participant choice, dignity and human rights.
• Develop behaviour change strategies aligned with participant goals and quality of life.
• Reduce restrictive practices in line with legislation and NDIS requirements.
• Manage complex cases requiring multidisciplinary collaboration.
• Provide professional advice to families, carers and support teams.
