Job summary

CVS Health is hiring a Behavioral Health Utilization Management Clinician for a fully remote, nationwide role. You will evaluate preauthorization requests, coordinate decisions with providers, and manage crisis calls when needed.

Ideal candidates will hold an active BH license and have 3+ years of post-licensure BH experience, with strong telephonic and digital coordination skills, and a reliable home internet connection.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted license in Behavioral Health in your state
• 3+ years of post-licensure behavioral health experience
• 3+ years of experience with mental health and substance use disorders
• Ability to manage telephonic and computer-based work simultaneously
• High-speed internet at home (25 Mbps down / 3 Mbps up)

Responsibilities

• Review preauthorization requests for behavioral health services using guidelines and clinical judgment
• Coordinate and document utilization management decisions with providers
• Manage crisis calls and assess risk with appropriate interventions
• Support quality and cost-effective care to improve member outcomes
• Work in a fast-paced queue-based environment with multiple priorities
• Collaborate with care teams to facilitate appropriate levels of care
