Qualifications

• Master's degree required.
• 3 years of utilization management or behavioral health care management experience.
• Licensed Master’s level Behavioral Health Clinician in Psychology, Counselling, Social Work, Marriage or Family Therapy.
• Unrestricted clinical license, active in state of residence and multi-state licensure planning.

Responsibilities

• Perform prospective, concurrent and retrospective utilization management reviews.
• Apply clinical criteria to determine medical necessity and policy adherence.
• Collaborate with case management and other departments to ensure smooth transitions of care.
• Provide timely, accurate responses to inquiries and maintain high customer service standards.
• Identify opportunities for quality improvement and participate in initiatives.
