Job summary

TALENT SHIFT, LLC is seeking an experienced finance audit consultant for a banking client. This fully remote contract role runs for 2 months.

You will perform risk-based audits, evaluate internal controls, and report to executives, ensuring alignment with regulatory expectations. Ideal candidates have 5+ years in internal audit with a large global bank, hold a Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, and reside in the continental United States.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in accounting, finance, or related field.
• 5+ years of internal audit experience with a large global bank.
• Residence in the continental U.S. required.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States; no visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Execute risk-based audits of financial reporting, regulatory capital, liquidity, and treasury activities across banking processes.
• Evaluate design and operation of internal controls over finance functions and recommend improvements.
• Conduct end-to-end audit engagements including planning, fieldwork, and executive-level reporting.
• Provide independent challenge to senior finance and business leaders on governance, risk management and controls using data analysis.
