Linqia, Inc. is seeking a Backend Engineer contractor to design and implement server-side applications using Python, develop microservices, and optimize databases.

You will write complex SQL with Trino, integrate APIs, perform tests, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust, scalable systems. This long-term remote role requires strong coding standards and English proficiency.

Qualifications

• English language proficiency required.
• BS degree in Computer Science or a similar technical area of study, or equivalent practical experience.

Responsabilités

• Design server-side applications using Python.
• Write complex SQL queries using Trino to gather analytics data from multiple sources.
• Develop and maintain microservices for our platform.
• Design and optimize relational and non-relational databases.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate APIs and ensure smooth functionality.
• Write efficient and reusable code and conduct code reviews.
• Develop comprehensive end-to-end integration tests and troubleshoot backend issues.
• Stay up-to-date with latest technologies to drive continuous improvement.
