Job summary

Darize poszukuje doświadczonego Back-end Software Engineera do rozwoju usług i API działających w środowisku AWS. Rola koncentruje się na programowaniu backendu oraz rozwiązań serverless i event-driven, z bliską współpracą z Product Ownerami, frontendowcami i architekta. Tryb pracy: zdalnie na 12 miesięcy, z możliwością długotrwałej współpracy.

Wymagane min. 3 lata doświadczenia w Pythonie lub Scali i solidne umiejętności AWS oraz projektowania REST API.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years experience in backend development with Python or Scala.
• Minimum 2–3 years practical AWS experience (Lambda, API Gateway, SQS, SNS, EventBridge, DynamoDB, S3).
• Hands-on experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL).
• Knowledge of NoSQL databases (DynamoDB) including data modeling and efficient queries.
• Experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs.
• Strong software engineering practices including unit/integration tests, code reviews, and Git.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code using CloudFormation.
• Interest in technology, architecture, and analyzing multiple solution approaches.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a team.
• Excellent spoken and written English.
• Bonus: prior Scala experience; Kotlin or Java is a plus.
• Knowledge of observability tools like CloudWatch or X-Ray.
• Nice-to-have: experience with HL IT products or container transport industry.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services and REST APIs on AWS.
• Create serverless solutions using AWS Lambda.
• Implement event-driven architectures with SQS and EventBridge.
• Write readable, testable, and maintainable code.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure quality of solutions.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, frontend developers, and architects to deliver new features.
• Monitor production services and diagnose issues.
• Improve existing services for performance and maintainability.
