Coinbase is seeking a Software Engineer for the CDP Foundations team within the Developer group to build backend services and APIs that power our crypto infrastructure for partners and customers.

You'll design, deploy, and maintain scalable microservices, define internal APIs, lead end-to-end delivery, and contribute to reliability, observability, and on-call responses while collaborating with cross-functional partners.

Formación

• 2+ years of professional experience building and maintaining production backend services.
• Experience designing and shipping internal or customer-facing APIs with a focus on developer experience.
• Familiarity deploying and testing in microservice ecosystems with observability tooling.
• Proven ability to communicate trade-offs clearly in writing and discussions with partners.
• Uses generative AI responsibly with human oversight to improve workflows.

Responsabilidades

• Build, deploy, and maintain scalable, secure backend services in a microservices architecture.
• Define internal and customer-facing APIs with clean interfaces.
• Lead end-to-end delivery of features from implementation through deployment and monitoring.
• Strengthen reliability and observability, addressing technical debt proactively.
• Participate in code reviews, on-call rotation, and incident response.
