Job summary

IntePros is seeking a Backend Engineer to design, build, and operate cloud-native APIs and services. You will implement business logic, orchestration, and integrations with enterprise systems while applying AI-assisted development practices.

You will contribute to API standards, CI/CD pipelines, and production readiness, partnering with Analysts and Product Owners to ensure clear, executable requirements.

Qualifications

• Backend development with modern enterprise tech stacks.
• Experience delivering API-first microservices with orchestration patterns.
• Proficient in AWS, containers, CI/CD and IaC practices.
• Familiar with contract testing, automated gates, and observability.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, deploy, and operate cloud-native backend services and APIs.
• Implement domain services, orchestration, event-driven patterns, and service composition.
• Develop integrations with enterprise systems and AI/agent services.
• Leverage AI coding agents to accelerate development while ensuring quality.
• Create automated tests across unit, integration, contract, and performance areas.
• Contribute to API standards, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure automation.
• Own production readiness, monitoring, incident response, and improvements.
• Collaborate with Analysts and Product Owners to clarify requirements.
