Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking a senior Microsoft Azure Administrator to design, deploy, and optimize cloud infrastructure in a remote US-based role. The position requires hands-on Azure experience, Intune and endpoint management, and collaboration with development teams on deployments.

The candidate will ensure security controls, perform vulnerability remediation, and support disaster recovery and business continuity through Azure-based solutions. Strong scripting and automation skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of systems administration or infrastructure engineering experience.
• Three or more years of hands-on Microsoft Azure administration or engineering experience.
• Strong knowledge of Azure Virtual Machines, Azure networking, NSGs, routing, and security.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune and endpoint management.
• Experience supporting Azure DevOps and automation practices.
• Strong Windows Server administration and troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, manage, and optimize Microsoft Azure infrastructure.
• Administer Azure Virtual Machines, storage accounts, virtual networks, resource groups, and supporting services.
• Configure and maintain VNets, NSGs, route tables, private endpoints, VPN connectivity, DNS services, and VNet peering.
• Implement and maintain Azure security controls and operational best practices.
• Monitor Azure environments for performance, availability, security, and cost optimization.
• Support Azure backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity initiatives.
