Job summary

Bright Vision Technologies is seeking an experienced AWS Solutions Architect to design, build, and operate large‑scale, secure cloud platforms on AWS. This role is 100% remote within the Continental United States and is a direct W2 SOW engagement with the company.

The successful candidate will lead infrastructure‑as‑code, security, observability, and cost optimization, partnering with security and SRE teams to deliver resilient cloud solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of cloud engineering experience with AWS in production.
• Hands-on with AWS core services (EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, RDS, Lambda).
• Experience building and operating CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong scripting, security, and cloud cost awareness.

Responsibilities

• Architect, deploy, and operate enterprise AWS environments with focus on scalability and security.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure-as-code with Terraform, CloudFormation, or CDK.
• Design multi-account AWS organizations, landing zones, SCPs, logging, and shared services.
• Build secure VPC topologies and network connectivity.
• Implement IAM with least-privilege across the organization.
• Operate EKS/ECS clusters and data services with CI/CD and observability.
• Develop automation scripts to streamline operations and incident response.
• Mentor engineers and lead design reviews.
