Bright Vision Technologies is seeking an experienced AWS Solutions Architect to design, build, and operate large‑scale, secure cloud platforms on Amazon Web Services. This role is fully remote within the United States and requires hands‑on expertise across architecture, IaC, security, observability, and continuous improvement of production workloads.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Five or more years of cloud engineering experience, with at least three years focused on AWS in production environments.
• Strong hands‑on experience with AWS core services, including EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, RDS, Lambda, CloudFront, and CloudFormation.
• Production‑grade experience with infrastructure‑as‑code tools such as Terraform, AWS CDK, or CloudFormation.
• Solid experience designing and operating Amazon EKS or ECS clusters at scale.
• Hands‑on experience with CI/CD pipelines across infrastructure and application workloads.
• Strong scripting skills in Python and Bash, with familiarity in Go or PowerShell considered a plus.
• Deep understanding of cloud security, IAM, encryption, key management, and compliance requirements.
• Experience implementing observability, monitoring, and alerting in cloud‑native environments.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Architect, deploy, and operate enterprise‑grade AWS environments across compute, networking, storage, identity, and managed data services.
• Author and maintain production‑quality infrastructure‑as‑code using Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK.
• Design multi‑account AWS organizations with landing zones, SCPs, centralized logging, and shared services.
• Build secure VPC topologies with subnetting, route tables, and transit gateways.
• Implement strong IAM strategies using roles and SCPs for least‑privilege access.
• Design, deploy, and operate EKS clusters and other container platforms with auto‑scaling and observability integration.
• Operate AWS managed data and analytics services like RDS, DynamoDB, S3, Redshift, Glue, and Kinesis.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure and applications using CodePipeline/CodeBuild, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
• Drive ongoing cost optimization through right‑sizing, savings plans, and architectural simplification.
• Implement disaster‑recovery and business‑continuity capabilities with cross‑region replication and backup strategies.
• Strengthen security posture and lead remediation with security tooling and collaboration with security teams.
• Advise application teams on AWS‑native patterns and platform choices for problems.
• Develop automation scripts and tooling in Python, Bash, and Go to accelerate operations.
• Mentor engineers, lead reviews, and contribute to the cloud community.
