Job summary

Strategic Staffing Solutions is looking for an AWS Solution Architect III to support cloud migration and modernization. The role involves designing scalable solutions across cloud, AI/ML, and digital platforms. Ideal candidates will have 5-7+ years of experience in digital solution architecture, particularly with AWS services.

The position offers a hybrid work arrangement, with a pay rate of $85-95/hr W2 only. Candidates will work in collaboration with cross-functional teams to implement secure architectures and cloud solutions.

Qualifications

• 5-7+ years of experience in digital solution architecture and cloud-based systems.
• Hands-on expertise in AWS services (S3, Lambda, EC2, EKS, Kinesis, Athena, EMR).
• Proven experience in AI/ML architecture, cloud-native data modeling.
• Solid background in Terraform and CI/CD workflows.
• Experience in real-time data platforms like Kafka.
• Strong understanding of modern web and mobile application development.
• Proven track record of delivering scalable digital products.
• Ability to lead through influence across teams.
• Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, Kanban, and Waterfall methodologies.
• Experience externalizing APIs for third-party consumption.

Responsibilities

• Drive design and implementation of cloud-based applications.
• Partner with Cybersecurity and architecture teams to ensure security.
• Design across the digital tech stack including Web and Mobile.
• Lead architecture of Big Data/AI/ML solutions to AWS.
• Produce architecture diagrams and service specifications.
• Collaborate with teams for cloud best practices and DevSecOps.
• Mentor and influence engineering peers.
• Promote agile, scalable delivery frameworks.
