Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Data Engineer for a 100% remote role. You will lead hands-on data engineering tasks, streaming mainframe-derived data into S3, and curating datasets for analytics using AWS Aurora/RDS. Qualifications

• 5+ years of Data Engineering experience.
• Collaborate effectively with the team and drive deliverables to completion.
• Hands-on AWS cloud experience.
• Data streaming expertise with Kafka.
• ETL/ELT experience using AWS Glue.
• Data reconciliation, quality, and curation.
• Experience with AWS S3 storage and relational DBs (RDS/Aurora).
• GitHub repository management and GitHub Actions CI/CD.
• Experience using AI tools to automate workflows.
• MongoDB or other NoSQL experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• 100% hands-on contributor role.
• Stream and process source data into AWS S3 and curate datasets.
• Perform reconciliation and validation of data assets.
• Automate workflows and deployments via GitHub CI/CD.
