Job summary

Maximus is seeking an Intermediate AWS Cloud Systems Operations Administrator to join our Texas-based team. This remote role requires a Top Secret with SCI clearance and entails managing AWS workloads with emphasis on security and compliance.

The candidate should have extensive experience with AWS services, Kubernetes/EKS, and cloud-native tooling, with a strong background in Linux and Windows system administration. TCS internal profile code: TCS219, T3, Band 6.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field is desired.
• Five years IT systems administration experience with both Windows and Linux.
• Experience deploying, managing and operating workloads on AWS.
• Experience with Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS).
• Experience with container orchestration and deployment in AWS.
• CKA certification and/or training is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provides subject matter proficiency for tasks.
• Supports process improvement, requirements definition, and analysis.
• Develops requirements documents and functional models.
• Develops procedures and architectures for cloud workloads.
• Ensures security controls and compliance for AWS environments.
• Familiar with AWS Management Console and CLI.
• Proficiency with Kubernetes/EKS and related AWS tools.
