Job summary

Bright Vision Technologies is seeking an experienced AWS Cloud Engineer to design, build, and operate large-scale, secure cloud platforms on AWS. This is a 100% remote role across the U.S., with a focus on architecture, infrastructure-as-code, automation, security, observability, and continuous operational improvement of mission-critical workloads.

The ideal candidate has 6+ years of AWS production experience, strong scripting in Python and Bash, and hands-on experience with Terraform,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Five+ years of cloud engineering experience, with at least three years on AWS in production environments.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS core services (EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, RDS, Lambda, CloudFront, CloudFormation).
• Production-grade infrastructure-as-code experience (Terraform, AWS CDK, CloudFormation).
• Experience designing and operating EKS or ECS clusters at scale.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure and applications.
• Strong Python and Bash scripting skills; Go/PowerShell a plus.
• Deep cloud security, encryption, key management, and compliance knowledge.
• Experience implementing observability, monitoring, and alerting in cloud-native environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate large-scale, secure AWS cloud platforms.
• Lead architecture, IaC, automation, security, and observability efforts.
• Collaborate with application, security, and SRE teams to deliver scalable solutions.
