Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Senior AWS Cloud Architect to lead VMware-based datacenter migrations to AWS using Agentic AI-driven solutions. You will define cloud architecture, migration strategy, governance standards, and technical execution while providing leadership to architects, engineers, and stakeholders throughout the transformation program.

Expertise in cloud architecture, AWS services, IaC, CI/CD, and security is essential.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in cloud architecture and migration leadership.
• Proven track record delivering large-scale AWS migrations and modernizations.
• Strong governance, security, and cost-management experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead discovery, assessment, and migration strategy using AWS 6R framework.
• Define target landing zone architecture and roadmaps with cost models.
• Drive AI-driven migration, validation, cutover, and post-migration checks.
• Provide technical leadership for VMware-to-AWS migrations and modernization.
