Job summary

SFE is seeking an experienced AWS Architect to lead API development and cloud migration initiatives. This remote, fulltime role focuses on transforming legacy services into scalable, cloud-native APIs across Payments, Money Movement, and Information Reporting.

The candidate should have deep AWS expertise, hands-on Java/Spring Boot experience, and proficiency with API Gateway, Lambda, ECS, Step Functions, SQS, DynamoDB, and Terraform.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and delivering secure, scalable APIs and microservices.
• Hands-on AWS expertise; experience migrating to AWS.
• Ability to translate business requirements into cloud-native solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and support secure, scalable APIs and microservices.
• Modernize and migrate APIs to AWS cloud-native architectures.
• Build RESTful APIs using Java, Spring Boot and AWS tech.
• Develop event-driven solutions with Kafka, SNS, SQS.
• Create Infrastructure as Code with Terraform.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and observability.
• Participate in on-call support and incident resolution.
