Job summary

Repairify, Inc. seeks a One Guard Inspector to inspect automobiles for mechanical failures and prepare detailed reports with photo/video evidence. This remote-based role travels to automotive repair facilities to perform inspections.

Applicants should have at least three years in a dealership or aftermarket repair setting, strong diagnostic reporting skills, and the ability to document findings clearly in our secure online portal.

Qualifications

At least three (3) years of car dealership experience OR experience in an aftermarket repair facility as an Automotive Technician.
Proficient in identification & description of failures to engines, transmissions and other mechanical components.
General knowledge of website navigation and ability to compose a comprehensive written report of vehicle inspections.
Exceptional communication skills, both oral and written, plus strong listening skills and a positive, energetic presence.
Basic computer skills and ability to upload photos/reports to online portal.

Responsibilities

Perform assigned automobile inspections for mechanical failures of all types including but not limited to engine, transmission, suspension and electrical.
While the repair facility technician demonstrates the diagnosis, clearly document the findings or results of the inspection.
Provide detailed written reports through One Guard’s online portal which include factual information and photo/video evidence.
Contact repair facilities to set appointments for inspections and notify One Guard of the appointment time.
Depending on the nature of the inspection, submit fluid sample to Blackstone Laboratories for further analysis.
