Job summary

Wellpoint Federal, a subsidiary of Elevance Health, seeks an Audit & Reimbursement III - Training to design, deliver, and improve audit training for staff handling hospital and non-hospital provider reviews.

The role partners with audit leaders to identify skill gaps, creates relevant course content, and facilitates virtual training sessions. It requires a BA/BS and Medicare auditing experience, with US residency as per policy.

Qualifications

• Requires a BA/BS degree and a minimum of 3 years of audit/reimbursement or related Medicare experience.
• Residency requirement: must live in the United States at least 3 of the past 5 years.

Responsibilities

• Spot skill gaps with audit leaders and prioritize training topics.
• Create course content and exercises aligned to current audit practice.
• Facilitate training sessions using audit experience to demonstrate processes.
• Plan and direct provider audits; act as lead auditor on large/complex audits.
• Review and approve work performed by auditors on team audits.
• Participate in special projects and review work by junior auditors.
• Analyze data and make recommendations based on judgment and experience.
• Maintain continuing education requirements for associates.
