CyberCoders is seeking an experienced Audit Manager in Baltimore to oversee the audit department, lead engagements, and provide strategic guidance to clients. The role requires a strong background in audit and accounting with proven leadership abilities.

Responsibilities include planning audits, supervising staff, reviewing financial statements, and staying current with auditing standards. CPA preferred; familiarity with nonprofit and government audits is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of audit and accounting experience.
• CPA certification preferred.
• Experience with CCH software is a plus.
• Familiarity with 990 forms and non-profit organizations is desirable.
• Knowledge of partnership and government audits is a plus.
• Experience with single audits and employee benefit plans is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage audit engagements from planning to completion.
• Develop and execute audit plans and strategies for clients.
• Supervise and mentor audit staff, providing training and guidance.
• Review and analyze financial statements and audit reports for accuracy and compliance.
• Identify areas for improvement and provide recommendations to clients.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of auditing standards and regulations.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication.
