Job summary

Ryder Audit Services is seeking an Audit Intern to support a variety of audit projects across Accounting, Finance, Operations, and Information Technology. The intern may work on SOX or other compliance audits, process audits, vendor audits, and IT general control audits, among others.

This opportunity will be a remote part time (20 hours per week) internship within Ryder Audit Services that is flexible allowing you to work around your class schedule.

Qualifications

• Incoming Junior pursuing a BA/BS in Accounting, Business, Finance, or Information Systems.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products.

Responsibilities

• Learn fundamentals of auditing and business operations through formal and on-the-job training.
• Perform audit procedures, identify issues, develop criteria, review evidence, and document processes.
• Prepare working papers, conduct interviews, review documents, and compose summary memos.
• Identify and document issues with independent judgment and recommendations.
• Communicate results of projects via written reports and oral presentations to management.
