Macmillan Audio is seeking a Marketing Manager to strategize, launch, and execute high-impact title campaigns across our audiobook catalog. You will present plans to authors and agents and collaborate with publicists and book teams across Macmillan imprints.

The ideal candidate has 5–7 years of publishing marketing experience, exceptional presentation skills, and a proven ability to manage multiple titles under tight deadlines while building inventive campaigns.

Qualifications

  • 5-7 years marketing experience in publishing.
  • College degree or related experience.
  • Exceptional presentation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Drive the concept, creation, and execution of title marketing campaigns across a high volume of audiobooks.
  • Strategize advertising, organic social media, influencer outreach and growth initiatives to generate buzz and sales.
  • Manage, track, and optimize title-specific marketing budgets for maximum impact.
  • Support and build relationships with authors and agents to amplify the audiobook format.
  • Collaborate with producers, publicists, accounts, and imprint marketing groups for alignment.
  • Present strategies and pitches in weekly meetings with authors, agents, and publishing partners.
  • Demonstrate leadership and a strategic vision to elevate the audiobook format.
