Job summary

Regeneron is seeking a Temporary Associate Director, Clinical Scientist in Hematology to join our remote Hematology Clinical Sciences team. You will design, execute, and ensure scientific integrity of hematology clinical studies while collaborating with Medical Directors and cross-functional program teams to advance development programs.

The role requires a PhD/MD or equivalent, a strong record in GMP/clinical trials, and excellent communication with scientific and non-scientific audiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree (PhD/PharmD/MSc) in life science or healthcare preferred.
• 10 years of pharmaceutical clinical drug development experience, with working knowledge of oncology or hematology therapeutic areas.
• Relate confidently and diplomatically with people at every level, internally and externally.
• Strong understanding of drug development processes, Good Clinical Practice, and clinical research methodology.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Clinical Scientist for the program, or as delegate to the Therapeutic Area Clinical Scientist.
• Contribute to program team meetings, scientific advisory boards, steering committees, and data/safety monitoring meetings.
• Maintain deep understanding of disease biology, clinical manifestations, and the compound's mechanism of action.
• Design and execute clinical research studies for early- and late-stage assets, grounded in supporting literature.
• Author the Expanded Synopsis and clinically relevant protocol sections, medical monitoring plans, and SAPs.
• Prepare and present information for external stakeholder meetings, investigator meetings, and internal collaborators.
• Apply analytical expertise to assess how program design impacts data analysis, and identify risk mitigation strategies.
• Promote consistent clinical data review conventions and author medical monitoring plans across studies.
