NACE is seeking a remote Associate Director Editorial / Senior Editor to turn bold, research-driven ideas into content that moves people to act. You’ll shape editorial voice, lead content and PR strategy, and amplify our national voice across higher education, workforce development, and employer practice.

Reporting to the Director, you’ll manage one direct report, collaborate with research, marketing, events, and leadership, and own the full editorial workflow from ideation to publication, while

Formación

• 6+ years of progressive experience in professional writing, editing, and public relations or media relations.
• Portfolio demonstrating range: press materials, news releases, op-eds, reports, and content for non-expert and business audiences.
• Proven success earning media coverage with published placements.
• Ability to translate research and data into clear, compelling stories.
• Editorial management experience, including content calendars and workflows.
• Strong command of AP style, grammar, and proofreading.
• Experience managing website content and familiarity with CMS platforms.
• Competency with AI as an assistive tool in content creation, with ethical use in mind.
• Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, public relations, English, or related field.

Responsabilidades

• Own and manage the editorial calendar for member-facing publications, newsletters, articles, and web content.
• Lead full editorial workflow from ideation through publication with cross-functional teams.
• Oversee content cleanup and migration for the new website launch.
• Lead PR efforts: build relationships with journalists, draft press materials, earn media coverage.
