Job summary

Centene Corp. is hiring an Associate Actuary to conduct analysis, pricing and risk assessments for health plans from a remote position within the continental United States. The role involves developing actuarial models, reporting, and supporting Value-Based Care initiatives.

Requirements include ASA or FSA, a bachelor’s degree or higher, and at least 2 years of actuarial experience. Proficiency in Excel, SAS, SQL, Snowflake, Teradata, and Python is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct analysis, pricing and risk assessment to estimate financial outcomes.
• Manage health plan actuarial needs and produce actuarial reports for corporate strategy.
• Develop probability tables based on data analysis and pertinent information.
• Analyze legislative changes and vendor/provider deals for impact.
• Create and update actuarial reports and support merger and acquisition analyses.
• Support financial model development for Value-Based Care contracts and baseline tracking.
