Job summary

The American College of Financial Services seeks an Assistant Professor to lead online teaching, course design, and curriculum development. The role emphasizes advanced wealth planning strategies for high-net-worth clients and requires a Ph.D.

(or near completion) in Financial Planning with at least five years of practitioner experience. The position supports remote instruction and collaboration with instructional design, while engaging with industry, professional associations, and accreditation

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Financial Planning required or near completion within one year.
• Minimum of 5 years of full-time practitioner experience serving high-net-worth individuals and families.
• Must hold or be pursuing relevant professional designations (CFP and College designations).
• Experience with distance learning, adult education, and online content development is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach graduate and undergraduate courses in multiple modalities (synchronous, asynchronous, hybrid, in-person).
• Develop industry-relevant course content and update existing materials.
• Maintain multiple program designations and contribute to research and thought leadership.
• Collaborate with Instructional Design Team to keep online content current and effective.
• Represent the College to industry, the public, and accreditation agencies; support program enrollments.
