Job summary

Avantpage, Inc. is building a national pool of ASL interpreters for flexible freelance assignments across the United States.

We welcome skilled interpreters to join our remote and onsite opportunities, including VRI work, with RID/BEI- or related credentials as a plus. Ideal candidates have at least two years of professional interpreting experience and are comfortable working with diverse clients in medical, educational, legal, or social services settings.

Qualifications

• ASL interpretation with >= 2 years of experience preferred.
• RID or BEI or related credentials preferred.
• Experience in medical, educational, legal, or social services settings.
• Freelance/independent contractor availability.

Responsibilities

• Provide ASL interpretation across diverse settings.
• Coordinate with clients and recruiters for assignments.
• Work onsite or via VRI as required, maintaining professionalism.
• Deliver accurate, confidential interpreting services with strong ethics.

What We’re Looking For:

• Language: American Sign Language (ASL)
• Services: Onsite, VRI (Video Remote Interpreting)
• Certifications: RID, BEI, or other relevant credentials are a plus

• Specialties: Medical, educational, legal, social services, or other community-based settings
• Platforms: experience working with Boostlingo and XTRF are a plus.
