Cooper Hart Leggiero & Whitehead, PLLC in The Woodlands, Texas, seeks an experienced Asbestos Bankruptcy Claims Analyst. You will identify viable bankruptcy trust claims by reviewing client records and exposure evidence, then develop strategies to maximize recoveries for clients.

The role favors candidates with plaintiff asbestos litigation or asbestos bankruptcy trust experience, strong analytical skills, and excellent written and verbal communication.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in plaintiff asbestos litigation and/or asbestos bankruptcy trust claims.
• Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and case management systems.

Responsibilities

• Review client records, work histories, and asbestos exposure evidence to identify potential bankruptcy trust claims.
• Assess claim viability and identify additional evidence needed to support claim filings.
• Prepare exposure analyses, medical synopses, work history summaries, and claim evaluation reports.
• Research job sites, asbestos-containing products, employment histories, military records, and other evidence to substantiate claims.
• Collaborate with attorneys, clients, and co-counsel regarding claim eligibility.
• Assist with resolving claim deficiencies and responding to trust requests for additional information.
• Maintain accurate claim information within firm databases and tracking systems.
• Stay current on trust procedures, filing requirements, and policy updates
